Francisco Serdoura was born in Evora, and received his Degree in Architecture by the Technical University of Lisbon in 1986. He began his professional activity during his studies, at the office of the Architect Carlos Oliveira Ramos. After his graduation, he began his collaboration with Professor Architect Joaquim Braizinha. He participated in several research activities in LNEC and CESUR, and also was intern at LDDC office in London, in 1992.
He received his MSc’s Degree in Regional and Urban Planning by the Technical University of Lisbon in 1995, and his PhD Degree in Regional and Urban Planning by the Instituto Superior Tecnico, in 2006.
Since 2006 he is Assistant Professor at the University of Lisbon, Faculty of Architecture, at the Architecture, Urbanism and Design Department, teaching in graduation and in Post-Graduated courses.
In 2001, he was founder of Espaco Colectivo, and since then developed several urban development and touristic plans and projects for the Portuguese territory. He became partner of Highplan Portugal office since 2013.
He likes outdoor sports, specially sailing, diving sports. He also likes music and art.
